Who We Are

Bowen Hale is a design and hospitality house founded by Molly Bowen, Bex Hale, and Sara Kenton — the team behind a growing portfolio of boutique hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, and private residences across the Hill Country and beyond.

We work across hospitality and high-end residential, partnering and investing alongside hospitality groups, developers, and homeowners who want soul, sophistication, and the craftsmanship to back it up. We design destinations worth returning to and homes worth never leaving — spaces that anchor neighborhoods, define towns, and earn their place in the story of a community.

We are building Bowen Hale to be more than a design firm. A place where the people who dream up beautiful spaces, the people who build them, and the people who live in them come together — and where the standard for how a home or a destination should feel is raised, every project, every time.

What We Believe

We believe the environment shapes everything - the spaces you spend your life in change how you feel, how you connect, and how you live. Design isn't decoration. It's the architecture of a life.

We believe function comes first, then beauty. A space has to work before it can be beautiful — get the floor plan right, get the flow right, and the rest follows. We believe hospitality is the highest standard interior design can aspire to: the best hotels and restaurants are designed for how people actually feel in a room, and we bring that sensibility home, to every project we touch.

We believe the composition is the art. Every element — the tile layout, the light fixture, the cabinet pull — is a piece in a larger whole, and great design is the sum of small decisions made with care, end to end. A home should be the most stylish version of who you are, and the most comfortable. Beautiful spaces you can't relax in have failed at their job.

And we believe the best work comes from the best partnerships. Designer, architect, builder - when those three are aligned, the whole project rises. We invest in those relationships like they're the work itself. Because they are.
